About The Basics

Here in "The Basics", you will learn the very first fundamentals of learning how to play the guitar whether it be acoustic or electric. We will start off by learn the string names and using exercises to get our fingers used to pressing down notes and then begin learning our first few chords.

Moving on, you will learn all the basic chords you need to know. Then comes the hard part, learning to strum. Learning how to count rhythms will make it easy to learn strumming patterns. From here you will see how these first basic chords and strumming patterns can create songs.

After you complete the videos in "The Basics", you should be actually playing the guitar! Move on to either "Chord Theory" or "Lead Guitar".
