Most people just think of strumming patterns when it comes to rhythm guitar, but rhythm consists of everything with a rhythmic pattern. This includes strumming, blues licks, finger picking, finger style, finger tapping style, thumping, and any other percussive patterns you want to add to the guitar. This can be a very fun part of guitar.
