Aaron's Pedal & Gear Blogs

All Of My Nose Expression Pedals - August 25th, 2011
I've given a summarized overview of all five of the Nose Expression pedals. This blog is helpful to compare each Nose pedal to see how they are similar and different.

Aaron's Pedalboard as of June 26th, 2011
This blog contains a list of all the pedals on my board as of now, along with a description of what they are and why I use them.

Pedal Demos

Nose Expression Pedal
The Nose Expression pedal is a very small, yet cool pedal that can be used for the Line 6 products and more. Open up new channels on your pedals, morph between settings, assign different settings to express and more.

Nose 2 Expression Pedal
The Nose 2 Expression is basically a 2-in-1 Nose pedal. It's cool having two expression pedals in one when you have more than one pedal on your board that requires an expression pedal. Use this with multiple Line 6 pedals like the DL4 and MM4, or use this pedal with both of the expression outs on the Line 6 M9 and M13.

Nose Blue Expression Pedal
The Nose Blue Expression pedal is a very small, yet cool pedal that can be used for most pedals that require a Stereo or TRS 1/4" expression connection. Compatible with brands like Boss, Electro Harmonix, Strymon, and more.

Nose Blue 2 Expression Pedal
The Nose Blue 2 Expression pedal is basically two Nose Blue pedals in one. This will allow you to control two different pedals on your board with expression extensions with just one little pedal.

Nose Plus Expression Pedal
The Nose Plus Expression pedal is very unique in that it is both the purple Nose Expression and the Nose Blue Expression in one pedal. That means it has both a Mono (TS) and a Stereo (TRS) connection making it useful for just about every pedal on the market with an expression extention.

Nose Quad Box Expression Pedal
Nose Pedal introduces the only expression you'll ever need. The Nose Quad Box Expression can control up to 4 different pedal with expression outs. The left side and knob will control TS or Mono expressions, while the right side will control the more common TRS or Stereo expressions. Simply stomp the switch to select the expression channel on each side. Each channel has it's own color LED light- purple, orange, green, and blue. Two large control knobs make it easy to control expressions with your foot.

Nose Volume Pedal
The Nose Volume pedal is a perfect little volume. Use for a small volume pedal, or use as a second volume pedal at the end of your signal chain. It also works as an expression for guitar effects that require a volume pedal for the expression pedal.

Nose Dual Volume Pedal
The Nose Dual Volume pedal is like a Stereo Volume with two independent volume controls. It's great for running stereo effects to two different amps and being able to control each amp's overall volume by having the pedal at the end of your effects chain. It can also be a dual function pedal and be used as an expression pedal for pedals like the Seymour Duncan SFX-10- one knob controlling volume and the other controlling the SFX-10.

Nose Stereo Volume Pedal
The Nose Stereo Volume could be the most useful volume pedal in the world. Not only can it control your stereo effects and dual amps with true stereo channels, but it can turn on and off your entire sound with the stomp of one switch. The "Killswitch" is the best part about this stereo volume. While other volume pedals only allow you to increase and decrease your volume level, this switch will completely cut the signal at any time, perfect for quick breaks between verses and choruses.

Nose Micro Stereo Volume Pedal
Probably the smallest stereo volume pedal in the world, the Nose Micro Stereo Volume pedal is the perfect pedal to have if you need a very small pedal for your stereo effects and dual amps. This pedal provides true stereo channels and requires no power. It's perfect when used at the end of your effects chain to allow the control of your overall volume- guitar, pedal effects, and both amps. It's like turning both of your amps up and down at the same time. The knob is large enough to move with your foot, and it looks super cool on your board.

Nose Little True Bypass Looper
At just a bit more than four inches long, the Nose Little Looper is a small and very useful true bypass looper. Fitting three different loops into one small pedal makes this probably the smallest multi looper on the market. Equipped with these three loops and purple LED lights, there are many ways to use this pedal. At such a cheap price, why not buy 2 or 3, link them together, and create even more true bypassed loops. Make pedals that aren't true bypassed into true bypassed pedal, create custom sounds with multi pedals in your loops, and hear the true tone and volume of your amp by bypassing large number of effects.

Nose Micro True Bypass Looper
The Nose Micro Looper is a very small true bypass looper, or true bypass maker. This pedal will turn any pedal on your pedal board that isn't true bypassed, into a true bypassed pedal. You can also loop your entire pedal board effects through the loop so you can turn on and off your pedal board, having the option of running your guitar straight into your amp with no tone or volume loss.

Nose Feedback Looper
The Nose Feedback Looper pedal is a must have if you are an experimental rocker. The sounds that this pedal can create are endless, depending on what type of effects are used in the loop. This pedal is also has a true bypass toggle switch which will turn any pedal you have into true bypass. The large foot control knob allows you to control the feedback amount, whether you need just a little feedback color to your sound or you need complete stretching feedback.

Nose Feedback Looper Deluxe
The Nose Feedback Looper Deluxe is the perfect feedback pedal. Yes it creates feedback with any effect that you run through it's loop, but it also has many other features. You can switch this pedal from a feedback pedal to a true bypass pedal, it has a feedback knob and volume knob you can control with your foot, and it has a manual and auto switch for controlling the sound output. Put this pedal on manual mode and your sound only come on when the second stomp switch is held down. The sound possibilities are endless and perfect for the experimental rocker. Fun to control with your hands or feet. A bright green LED light shows that the pedal is on. Very cool and purple.

Nose Multi Tap Tempo Pedal
The Nose Multi Tap Tempo Pedal is a single switch tap temp with 2 pedal outs. This means you can hook up two pedals to this one tap tempo and tap them or "sync" them both at the same time. This is great when using Loop Stations and Delays, or using multiple delays. You'll need TS "Mono" cables for the connection. Plug in and your ready!

Nose Dual Tap Tempo Pedal
The Nose Dual Tap Tempo pedal works great as two separate tap tempo pedals in one. Use this pedal to connect to different effect pedals with tap tempo expressions. Great with the Boss DD-7 Delay and RC-2 Loop Station. Or use with two different delay pedals for different time and tempo settings. You'll need TS "Mono" cables for the connection. Plug in and your ready!

Pedal Mods

Love Pedal Eternity Mod
This is one of the best Overdrives on the planet, if not the best one. Check out this video demonstration of how a simple Boss SD-1 can turn into a great sounding Love Pedal Eternity clone.

Boss CS-3 Compressor Sustainer Mod
Compressors are usually noisey and cheap, but this mod turns a normal Boss CS-3 into a much cleaner pedal with better sustain.
