The song index is the section of the site where you can look through and learn how to play songs. Songs posted here will be different than most sites. For example, this list will be songs that consist of good beginner songs to learn, songs that have been requested for Aaron to do a lesson video on, and of course finger tapping style songs.

If there is a song that you have a hard time find tabs or lessons on, request for Aaron to make a custom video lesson on the song by visiting the Lesson Services on the site. Simply read and learn about the custom video lessons and complete the form.

A song in an open tuning. Easy chords, but difficult intro.

Change The World by Eric Clapton
A great song in the key of E. This lesson will teach you jazz chord position that can be used in any song as well as this song.

Call Me A Dog
A pretty easy song for the acoustic guitar by Chris Cornell.

Crash by Dave Matthews
This song is based around the changing the root notes inside chords idea.

Drifting by Andy Mckee
This is a very challenging piece. But possible. Have fun with this. It might take some time.

Drive by Incubus
This rock song actually contains a great jazz chord progression.

Everlong by Foo Fighters
There are two versions of this song, acoustic and electric. This lesson can be applied to both versions. Fun Drop D song.

Far Away by Nickelback
Great song for learning cool picking patterns and chords.

Just the Two of Us by Will Smith
This is a great lesson to learn how to play some jazz chords and see how they apply to a song.

My Stupid Mouth by John Mayer
Want to learn some cool, comtemporary jazz chord progressions? Learn how to play this song.

Neon by John Mayer
One of his more difficult songs. This is a broken down version. Hope it helps.

Rain by Breaking Benjamin
Great, slow, acoustic guitar song by a rockin band. Drop C.


Satellite by Dave Matthews
Cool Dave song. Lots of picking.

Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana
A great and easy song for beginner rockers to practice their power chords and easy lead.

Taylor by Jack Johnson
Cool intro part, but for more experienced players.

Two Is Better Than One by Boys Like Girls (featuring Taylor Swift)
Pretty slow song by a cool punk rock band. Open tuning CGCGCE, pretty cool.

Use Somebody by Kings Of Leon
Rock song in C major. Easy chord progression and easy solos.

Wake Me Up When September Ends by Green Day
If you are just starting to learn picking, then this is a perfect song for you to begin with.

Whats My Age Again by Blink 182
Cool picking pattern in the intro, and good for practicing power chords.

Wish I May by Breaking Benjamin
Drop Db. Awesome rock song.

Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd
If you are still a beginner, great song to learn. Usually a must for most new players.

Wonderwall by Oasis
This is a great song to learn to practice your strumming techniques. Make sure you have a capo!

You and Me by Lifehouse
Great beginner song in 6/8 and the key of G.

You Belong With Me by Taylor Swift
Great simple hit song to learn. Using the "REAL Chords To Know Key D" in this video lesson. Capo 4th fret, key F#.
