This is a "new" fad among guitars, a new way of playing guitar. To most people, it doesn't even make sense. It seems like another instrument to most guitarists. Well it's not. It's the same instrument. This IS possible. With a few bruises and exercises, as well as a lot of practicing, you can do this too.
This style of guitar features artists such as Andy Mckee, Justin King, Erik Mongrain, and many others. Many of these artists tune to different tunings such as DADGAD and FACFCF to write most of their songs. But, this style of playing can also be done in standard tuning which will be demonstrated in the lesson videos. You'll learn a few exercises to get you going with the techniques, then soon you'll learn how to actually play some simple songs to more advanced songs.
