Hey everyone. I really need your help in this…

As many of you know, I have been making free video lessons for about a year and a half now on this website. The video lessons will always be free. All my videos are self-produced and as you probably have noticed, I have not made any video lessons in a few months. This is because I do not want to make another video lesson without having full High Definition video quality. Currently my videos are lower resolution and could be much better. Since my videos are free and are used by you, the viewer, I am starting a fundraising campaign for all my users to help me with- that will, in turn, benefit you greatly.

I am going to raise money from any AaronsGuitarLessons.com users who would like to support the cause. Once upgraded to full HD, all my video lessons will then be much better viewing quaility. You’ll be able to view my guitar neck, fingers, and frets much better with sharper close ups than ever before. This will improve your learning experience greatly. Not only will I be upgrading equipment, but I will be upgrading to equipment that will also be portable. This will allow me to transport my video lessons studio wherever I go on tour with Finding Favour so that I will always be able to make video lessons in my free time.

For this HD upgrade, I am in need of approximately $1500.00. This website is a free website, so it is up to you to support and donate the funds needed for this upgrade. But the great part is, that if all you guys pitch in just a small amount, then this will be easy and shouldn’t take very long! Preparing For The New Album

Hi. As many of you know, I play in a band called Finding Favour. To make a really long story short, we are signing with INO Records and must prepare for our new album. This means that I will be spending alot of time in writing with the band, other writers, and producers. The entire month of September is currently being scheduled for writing sessions in Nashville. I will be touring most of August, then writing in September, then jumping on a new tour with Downhere starting in October. I will be getting back home from time to time throughout the next 3 months and when I do, I will try to get new video lessons made. There have been so many requests lately that I can not keep up with them, BUT I am reading all the requests. I still have many videos on this website that should keep you guys going and learning for awhile though. If it gets to the point where I don’t have much time at home to make video lessons while I’m off the road, then I’ll rig up some type of portable video studio to carry with me. This website has been a passion of mine and is stilling growing, so I have no plans of stopping.

Back to INO Records, we are hoping to expect our first nationwide single on all major Christian radio stations towards the ending of this year, 2010. We have many songs to choose from so we haven’t completely decided on our first single. In the music industry you have one chance to release your first single, and one chance to release your first album. So I expect lots of support from all my AaronsGuitarLessons.com users!!! HaHa. Currently on Summerfest Tour with Building 429

Good day everyone. I hope everyone had a great July 4th. My band played an outdoor show in St. Louis, and got stormed on. Luckly, none of our equipment was messed up. I’m currently on a 2 day break from the Summerfest tour with Building 429, Britt Nichole, Mikes Chair, and us, Finding Favour. To see our tour schedule click here. If you are in the area, come out to the show and watch some great bands. The tour has been going very smooth thus far and I hope will continue to do so, although this 21 hour drive from Texas to Atlanta has been long enough. I’m ready to get out of this van. The tour will resume Tuesday, the 12th of July. Keep up with us and these bands on tour, great music is in store for you!

Lesson charts are here!!

Hello everyone. I’m currently sitting in a hotel in a shady part of Indiana off the interstate. We have started our Summerfest Tour with Building 429. You can check out more info about the tour at www.FindingFavour.com. So yeah, I have just finished making all the lesson charts for the lessons, so far. I’ll be adding more and more lesson charts as I add more video lessons. For now, these lesson charts along with all of the chord, scale, and arpeggio charts can be downloaded for free in a .zip file if you click on “Lesson Charts” in the left navigation panel. All of the lesson charts are in .PDF format and are ready for printing if you’d like to do so. Over the next few days, as I have time on this tour, I’ll be adding all the lesson charts to the corresponding lessons throughout the website. I hope you enjoy these charts, and even more I hope they make the video lessons easier. One thing to know about the charts… Many guitar charts are written as if you are teaching yourself the guitar… I have made these charts as if you are sitting in front of me and watching me play my guitar neck like in the video. I hope there is little confusion. I think it makes learning the video lesson easier. So it’s 2:09AM here in Indiana and I need to get some rest before our 4th of July show tomorrow. The NEW AaronsGuitarLessons.com is up and going!

If you are new to the site, welcome. This is a brand new look for AaronsGuitarLessons.com. This site has been online for about a year and a half, and I have just designed a new and improved site. I hope you like it. So its about 5:00AM for me here and I just uploaded the new site. I wanted to do it now because I knew that there would probably be problems and I didn’t want alot of people on the site while I’m fixing issues. I’m currently having problems with some of my flash videos that I hope to get taken care of by the end of the day. Not everything is finished, I have yet to add download links to printable chord charts for lessons that I am working on and a few other additions that I need to add to the site. What I need now is feedback. All of my comments from the old site are gone. So I need few comments and reviews. Tell me what you think the new site should have and let me know if there is anything you miss about the old site. There are many ways to comment and leave feedback on this new site, so pick one and talk to me! Bare with me for awhile as I work out all the little bugs. Thanks. -Aaron

After a year and a half of staring at my last ugly site, I’ve decided to completely redesign, and redevelop the entire website. I’ve been working on this project for a few weeks now. The new AaronsGuitarLessons.com will be much more dynamic, easier to use, contain more information, and look way better.
