DVDs Are Available For Download!

I’ve just worked on the website for a few days. One new feature that I have added to the Store is Digital DVD Downloads. This will allow you to download and save the DVD titles to your computer. This is much cheaper than ordering the DVDs, and you can decide if you want to watch the downloaded files on your computer at anytime, or you can make your own DVDs by burning the ISO file to a DVD+R and then watch on your TV. Please make use of this feature!

I have a few more ideas like this I may be doing in the future. My next DVD project will be a training DVD on Praise & Worship. The DVD will feature lessons on proper chords and voicings for praise and worship style, lessons on lead guitar for praise and worship, and “How To Play…” lessons on certain songs. I haven’t yet started this DVD project because I want to finish up my HD Upgrade Fundraiser.

As I took a few days to work on the site, I posted information about what I’ve been up too along with the updates on the HD Upgrade Fundraiser. I raised an extra $122.00 in those 2 days. Thanks! For those of you that do not know about the fundraiser- I am upgrading video equipment so that my videos will be in HD quality. This will improve all visual learning and allow for more cool features on the lessons. The lessons will also be in widescreen format to allow for better views of the entire body of the guitar. Digital Downloads Of DVD Lessons. Good Idea? Feedback Needed.

I’m thinking about making the video lesson files and the DVD iso files available for digital download in the store. I know many of you enjoy buying the actual DVDs and thank you for doing so. But would you guys also like me to make the DVDs and other files downloadable? It would be cheaper for you to download the DVDs and burn the ISO files to your won DVD+R discs, and faster. I can offer a few ways to download. I’ll probably do a direct download off my server, and also make a torrent of the files so that you could download the large files with uTorrent or other torrent programs. A torrent downloader would be handy if you need to download pieces of the files here and there over a period of time. I’m thinking this will be a good idea for me and all of you guys who use the website. Comment below and give me your feedback on the idea. Would you buy a cheaper downloadable DVD? Would you like to download the .wmv files as well? I’m looking forward to your feedback.

Hey everyone. I really need your help in this…

As many of you know, I have been making free video lessons for about a year and a half now on this website. The video lessons will always be free. All my videos are self-produced and as you probably have noticed, I have not made any video lessons in a few months. This is because I do not want to make another video lesson without having full High Definition video quality. Currently my videos are lower resolution and could be much better. Since my videos are free and are used by you, the viewer, I am starting a fundraising campaign for all my users to help me with- that will, in turn, benefit you greatly.

I am going to raise money from any AaronsGuitarLessons.com users who would like to support the cause. Once upgraded to full HD, all my video lessons will then be much better viewing quaility. You’ll be able to view my guitar neck, fingers, and frets much better with sharper close ups than ever before. This will improve your learning experience greatly. Not only will I be upgrading equipment, but I will be upgrading to equipment that will also be portable. This will allow me to transport my video lessons studio wherever I go on tour with Finding Favour so that I will always be able to make video lessons in my free time.

Preparing For The New Album

Hi. As many of you know, I play in a band called Finding Favour. To make a really long story short, we are signing with INO Records and must prepare for our new album. This means that I will be spending alot of time in writing with the band, other writers, and producers. The entire month of September is currently being scheduled for writing sessions in Nashville. I will be touring most of August, then writing in September, then jumping on a new tour with Downhere starting in October. I will be getting back home from time to time throughout the next 3 months and when I do, I will try to get new video lessons made. There have been so many requests lately that I can not keep up with them, BUT I am reading all the requests. I still have many videos on this website that should keep you guys going and learning for awhile though. If it gets to the point where I don’t have much time at home to make video lessons while I’m off the road, then I’ll rig up some type of portable video studio to carry with me. This website has been a passion of mine and is stilling growing, so I have no plans of stopping.

Back to INO Records, we are hoping to expect our first nationwide single on all major Christian radio stations towards the ending of this year, 2010. We have many songs to choose from so we haven’t completely decided on our first single. In the music industry you have one chance to release your first single, and one chance to release your first album. So I expect lots of support from all my AaronsGuitarLessons.com users!!! HaHa. After a year and a half of staring at my last ugly site, I’ve decided to completely redesign, and redevelop the entire website. I’ve been working on this project for a few weeks now. The new AaronsGuitarLessons.com will be much more dynamic, easier to use, contain more information, and look way better.
